Training to support implementation
Requirements for program certification
Pre-service staff training
Home visitors must achieve certification to implement the model. After completing the training and coaching sessions, the coach certifies trainees who have demonstrated proficiency in the model. To maintain certification, home visitors must serve at least two families per year and receive at least one hour of coaching.
In-service staff training
To become certified trainers, home visitors must have participated as a co-trainer at least three times during an official VIPP-SD training course.
